about 6 years ago I was driving along the road and seen a husky running in between vehicles on the road. I stopped to try to get it off the road. I finally managed to get him to come to me. He smelled bad and was afraid. I got to looking at him and his collar was dug down deep into his neck and I could tell it had been there a long time and infection had set in. I took him straight to my vet's office. They had to put him under to clean him up and they neutered him , tested him for heart worms and did the works all at once. I brought him home to nurse him back to health and he would not come out of my garage to even go to the bathroom. I eventually hired a trainer to help me work with him. I had found him a home but needless to say when I turned to walk away it was too much for him and I had to bring him back home with me. Long story short, he now has his own garage so I can use mine and he is completely happy here. He has his own fenced in yard ( he will never be tied again). No one ever came forward to claim him.
