Several years ago I passed an Animal Shelter while I was out on my job. I felt compelled to go in, even though I had no thought of adopting another animal. I looked at all the kittens in their cages and they were all so cute. When I got to the last one that was a grey and white, I spoke to him and he came from the back of the cage and demanded to be freed. He cried loudly and grabbed the bars on the door and clung to them. The worker apologized and said he had never acted that way before and that he was not agressive at all. The kittens in the other cage started meowing and trying to see what was causing all the commotion. I turned and spoke to one of the other kitties and the grey and white starting screaming and shaking the cage with all 4 paws. I told the worker that he was so demanding that I get him out of there, that I better take him home before he wrecked the place.

He was so sweet and instead of being agressive, he was a very timid cat. He would hide under the bed covers when he was afraid, or stick his head under my arm. He became our Jamie cat and gave us 17 1/2 years of the best love a human can get from a cat. I have included the picture of him caring for his little sister, Miss Jo. She loved him so and we all miss him very much.
