I found Punkin lying in my yard completely covered in maggots. I took him inside and cleaned him, rushed him to the vet. He spent 3 days there with not much hope of survival. My mom and sister stepped in, took him home, feeding him around the clock and he doubled in weight. His future was looking up! Sadly, his beautiful little blue eyes had a virus, and now he has lost his sight. He is facing double eye removal surgery when he gets 5 pounds. He is eating on his own, and is even starting to groom himself. He has stolen all our hearts and we are going to fight as hard as he is for him to have a long, loving and happy life!
