We put our beloved 20 year old cat to sleep last Fall, and having had long living cats for the past 44 years, we just had to have another. All our previous cats had been rescue cats, so off to a pet adoption event I went. I fell in love with a 6 month old dark range tabby who was in a kennel with a 4 month old buff tabby. They were totally entwined with one another, seemingly inseparable! Not being sure if I wanted 2 cats once again, I brought home the dark orange tabby and when I told my husband about the adorable other tabby in the kennel, he told me to go back and get the other one since cats do better in pairs. So back I went and brought her home as well. That was in January, and they have since provided much fun, love and happiness in our home. Rescue animals seem to give love abundantly, almost seeming grateful for their rescue. We hope to have these two for many years to come and if the past is any indication, they may out live us!!! Thanks for the love!
