Munch was used as a hunting dog for years before he injured his ACL joint. His owner was going to just shoot him but a neighbor brought him to a shelter instead. I started volunteering at the shelter this summer and fell in love with him day one. I had reservations about adopting a "hunting" dog because I have two cats in the home. After about a month I couldn't stand it anymore, I HAD to bring him home. We had our trials with separation anxiety at first but he allowed me to prove my loyalty to him and has done wonderfully ever since. He will stare at me each morning until I take him for his walk. Who could say no to this face ;)
