Rescue Stories: Charlie

Charlie showed up on my doorstep nearly thirteen years ago with his bright smile and sweet heart. He was diagnosed with heart disease in July of 2010. The docs gave Charlie six months to a year, but nineteen months later, he's still enjoying the world, the sun and the air, his family and friends, and even the occasional tennis ball. Every day with Charlie is a gift.

Feline webcam enchants shelters' fans

At the end of January, Friends of Feline's staff and furry residents all huddled in one small room for one happy reason. They bought a brand new floor for their center with a $5,000 Shelter+ Challenge grant. "While the floor is being done in the main area, we are all squished here into the front office!"
