Asleep one night my daughter put a purring cat in my face and said, "mommy, look!" I had 4 of them and thought nothing of it thinking it was one of my own. The next morning I learned that she had brought in a stray. He had followed the only cat I allow outdoors home. The next morning I put the stray out twice thinking he would find his way home. Both times he sat on the stoop waiting to be let in. He was healthy, clean, no bugs, good weight and I thought he was about 12 to 16 weeks old based on his size. I waited for signs around the neighborhood and to hear anything through the neighborhood sites and grapevine. Nothing. When I took him to the vet the following week I found out he was about 6 to 8 months old. I immediately made an appointment to get him fixed and decided he would be mine. I named him Felix because of his bag of tricks. He is into everything and we are constantly yelling, "Felix!" It is all in good fun though. He runs through the house like a little tank and you can occasionally hear him hit a corner to tight. This little munchkin of a kitty will come to anyone that walks in the door. He picks on my bigger older cats because he knows they will tolerate his antics. This little runt kitty with huge paws has given me so much love that I cannot imagine what it would be like without him. How he came to my house and to me will always be a mystery. I ask him all the time where he came from. He answers in ways that I do not understand but it was meant to be.
