Outlet! Was $29.95!In 2011 New Delhi, home of our artisan partners Conserve India, hosted the international Commonwealth Games. The Commonwealth Games is an international, multi-sport event involving athletes from the Commonwealth of Nations. The event was first held in 1930 and takes place every four years. Conserve India, a leader in women's fair trade employment and recycling, was given the vinyl promotional banners that lined the streets of Delhi after the games were over. Each bright banner was cut and styled into fabulous, one of a kind, limited edition messenger bags. Each bag features a different brightly colored section of the sporting banners, and has a sturdy vinyl adjustable strap.

This is a very nice, roomy bag with an inside pocket. The colors apparently vary wildly - the one I received was a combo of blue, purple, pink, and other colors. Fortunately the pink was on the inside so it did not look too girly, but it was far more colorful than I expected and not the sleek black/orange of the photo, so it was not quite the great men's gift like I was hoping for. Still, the bag looked nice, the colors were fun, and it was made well. The vinyl nature of the bag makes it feel a bit weird and stiff and gives it odd little divots which is the reason I would give it four stars and not five. I gave it away as a book-bag (to a different recipient than first intended) since it has the room and durability to hold several books.
