Our hand-loomed fabric was made by skilled wavers in Kampala, Uganda, using locally-sourced cotton yarns. The mini skirt was sewn by women at One Mango Tree's Kampala workshop. By the time it reaches you, more than a dozen people have contributed to its production: from weaving the fabrics to cutting the pieces, assembling the garment, checking for quality, pressing, labeling and packaging. This cute skirt creates fair trade jobs all the way along its journey to you!

  • 100% organic cotton
  • Zip waist
  • Machine wash cold, hang dry; medium iron; do not bleach or dry clean
  • Handmade in and fairly traded from Uganda

I got the navy ikat skirt and it wasn't nearly as blue as in the photo- the color was more gray, not as pretty. I got a size XL, as I"m 5'10" and 170 pounds, usually a size 12, but the XL was too big- I'm machine washing it in cold, will hang dry, and sew up the side if it's still too big.
